Brownfields Elementary (2024)
Project Overview
Womack – NRK Construction completed the construction of a 60,000 square foot elementary school which includes the abatement and demolition of the existing school and construction of a new school with metal paneling, CMU block, MEPS and interior finishes. This project uses funds from school tax plan and is performed under the CMAR construction method. The building includes grade level pods with clusters of classrooms, boys and girls restrooms, a common area for collaboration, and a faculty workroom. Other school amenities include a cafeteria with dining, assembly/multipurpose space connected to the dining area, a media center, exploratory labs for the arts, and administrative offices.
